Quantity under 12 is priced per order, and discounts begin at 12 pieces of the same design/color combination. Can my order mix shirt colors and styles? If the location of the print, the design itself and the colors in the design remain constant, you may mix shirt colors, sizing and styles any way you'd like. Please keep in mind that printing a design on dark colored garments may require an additional underbase color not needed when printing on light garments. Can I see all of the garment styles you offer in one place, neatly organized for browsing? Why, yes you can! We have built an online catalog to make it easy for you to choose the garment style that fits you best. Click HERE to browse the catalog. How many colors can you print? We can screen print a maximum of 6 colors. On dark shirts, a white underbase color may need to be flashed in order to make your shirts look their best, and will count for one of the six available colors. For photographic prints we can use a heat transfer process to apply an unlimited amount of colors. What is "Flashing"? A flash layer is a double print of a color on your shirt. When we print light colors on dark shirts we may need to print a double layer of the current color, or an underbase layer of white ink underneath your image. This prevents the dark garment from showing through the image, and allows the colors in your design to remain vibrant. What is an underbase? An underbase print is a layer of white ink printed on a dark garment before printing the other colors in the design. Certain colors printed on dark shirts tend to lose their opacity, resulting in color loss or fading. Printing a white underbase, flashing it, and then printing the design on top of the white print will give the design it’s full opacity and vibrance. How do I prevent fading in the wash? Screen prints will generally outlast the garment if the correct care is taken to protect the print. Washing your garments inside-out, cold, and drying on a cool setting will greatly increase the life of your prints. Can you do a pre-production sample? Sure! The charge for spec samples are $25 flat fee per print plus $20 per color preparation and all art fees involved. If I bring you shirts can you print them? We'd love to. All customer supplied garments are subject to a 2% misprint allowance, so please supply extra garments so that we may obtain the optimum print quality for your particular garments before we begin production. Because we have no control over the material supplied, customer supplied garments are printed AT YOUR OWN RISK, with no guarantees provided. How do I know that the colors in my design will be printed accurately? Generally speaking, we will match your print colors as close as possible to the final art on file. Because of slight variances among computer monitors and manufacturer ink batches, small variations may be present from screen to print. If you require very specific color values in your print, we can use pantone color matching to ensure exact color duplication at an additional charge. You will need to supply us with the pantone colors used to create your art. |
